V - 'Love Me Again'

BTS's V releases new single 'Love Me Again', the first song from his upcoming solo album 'Layover'.

"Love Me Again" is one of two songs that V will release before the album arrives on September 8th.

The second song is 'Rainy Days' and is scheduled to be revealed on Friday, August 11th.

"I wish you could love me again / No, I don't want no one else / I wish you could love me again," sings V on the chorus of "Love Me Again" over a minimal base of a guitar and sparse beats.

In the accompanying music video for 'Love Me Again', BTS's V performs the song in a stalactite cave, flanked by TVs displaying the single's lyrics.

Alongside the release of 'Layover' on September 8, V will also be premiering the music video for the single 'Slow Dancing'.

According to official 'Layover' song descriptions released by Big Hit Music, 'Rainy Days' will 'touch listeners' heartstrings', while 'Slow Dancing' is 'a romantic song in the style of of 70s soul that exudes a looseness and freedom".

The EP will also include a piano cover of 'Slow Dancing', as well as the pop R&B song 'For Us' and 'Blue', a 'tribute to old school R&B with a modern twist'.

V collaborated on the production of 'Layover' with Min Hee-jin, the CEO of NewJeans' record label ADOR.

In addition to contributing to the successful debut of NewJeans, Min Hee-jin was previously a creative director at SM Entertainment, where she worked with groups such as Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, and Red Velvet.

Min Hee-jin edited all aspects of V's first album, including the music, choreography, and promotion style.
