The Weeknd Breaks Touring Record With 1.3 Billion ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ Run

The Weeknd has set a new touring record after his “After Hours Til Dawn” stadium tour finished with more than $1.3 billion in gross revenue. The run concluded in Kuala Lumpur after 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries and five continents, selling more than nine million tickets and becoming the highest-grossing tour in history by a male artist

The Weeknd has officially closed the “After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour” with a final performance at TM Stadium National in Kuala Lumpur, ending a global run that reached 67 cities across 30 countries and five continents. Live Nation confirmed that the tour grossed more than $1.3 billion from 176 shows and sold over nine million tickets.

The final Asia leg brought the tour to the region for the first time. Initially announced with 11 stadium dates, it expanded to 17 because of demand, including three nights in Bangkok, four shows in Hong Kong and multiple performances in every market on the schedule.

With the final figures now confirmed, The Weeknd has the highest-grossing tour in history by a male artist. The total also places “After Hours Til Dawn” among the small group of concert tours that have passed the billion-dollar mark in ticket revenue.

The tour traveled through North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Latin America, Australia and Asia, with additional runs added in several territories. Its strongest recent period came in 2026, when more than three million tickets were sold and gross revenue exceeded $500 million.

July alone produced more than $120 million in ticket sales and nearly 900,000 tickets, putting the tour at the top of Billboard’s monthly Boxscore ranking for that period.

Several individual markets also produced venue and attendance records. In Toronto, The Weeknd played six shows at Rogers Centre, setting the venue record for the most performances by a male solo artist on one tour and also establishing a new mark for a Canadian artist.

At SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, seven performances gave him the venue record for both the most shows and the highest gross by a male artist.

France became another major part of the tour’s 2026 run. The Weeknd sold out six nights at Stade de France during a single tour, becoming the first artist to reach that figure. More than 500,000 people attended his French shows during summer 2026, while the complete tour included 13 sold-out stadium dates in the country.

In the United Kingdom, more than 450,000 fans attended seven sold-out stadium shows during 2026. Ticket buyers came from nearly 150 countries, illustrating the international pull of the run even within individual markets.

Hong Kong produced another record. Four sold-out shows at Kai Tak Stadium moved nearly 200,000 tickets, making The Weeknd the highest-selling international male solo touring artist in the market.

Those concerts also became the setting for the debut of “Hong Kong,” his new song featuring material from Cantopop star Faye Wong. The track was first performed live on October 24 before receiving an official regional release on October 31.

According to the latest campaign figures, “Hong Kong” also delivered major results on Chinese streaming platforms. On NetEase Cloud Music, it achieved the biggest first-day debut for a non-Mandarin song in the past five years across streams, likes, saves, comments and shares.

The Weeknd also became the first international artist in five years to reach No. 1 simultaneously on NetEase Cloud Music’s Hot Song, Surging and New Music charts on release day.

On QQ Music, “Hong Kong” posted the biggest debut ever for a Western male artist across streams, saves, comments and shares. It also made The Weeknd the first Western artist in 2026 to top all three of the platform’s major charts on release day.

The tour’s impact extended beyond ticket sales. To date, The Weeknd has donated $8.5 million through the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen, supporting hunger relief and access to education.

Of that total, $3 million was raised during 2026 for the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen. This year’s Global Citizen contributions will support a campaign focused on barriers affecting women and girls in health, education and economic opportunity.

The Weeknd’s broader humanitarian work extends beyond the tour. Since 2020, he has donated more than $12.6 million to charitable causes, including support for the World Food Programme’s work in Ethiopia and Gaza.

The “After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour” began in 2022 and returned to several regions over subsequent years rather than operating as one continuous four-year schedule. Its final totals reflect multiple separate legs, additional market runs and repeated expansions driven by demand.

With the Kuala Lumpur finale complete, the confirmed figures stand at 176 shows, more than nine million tickets and over $1.3 billion in gross revenue. Those numbers leave “After Hours Til Dawn” as the highest-grossing tour by a male artist and one of the largest stadium touring runs ever reported.
