The second single of The Chainsmokers for this year.
The Chainsmokers continue the journey towards their new album, as they release today their second single for this year, the "iPad".
The song was written by Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers.
The "iPad" is accompanied by an official video, directed by Kid Studio, which follows Drew Taggart throughout New York as he browses through the multitude of conflicting emotions that follow the end of an unhealthy relationship.
"Sometimes you just have to know where to start," says Drew Taggart.
"We wrote this song when I felt like I had no one to talk to. "It was not that I did not have anyone to listen to me, but I had reached a level of cognitive dissonance that I felt was inexplicable," he explains.

"I do not keep a diary, so my chance to organize my thoughts was to write this song and the rest on this album (and on previous albums). "If you've heard of 'Sick Boy,' you know what I mean."
"We feel really lucky that we can do this in the form of a song and that you are willing to listen. It has helped us a lot, so thank you. The next part of the story is called "iPad" and is out now. "Thank you for being here."
The "iPad" follows the release of the single "High", which marked the end of a two-year break for The Chainsmokers from music and opened a new chapter for the band.
"High" has been well received by the public and has garnered over 55 million audio and video streams since its release last month.
Both the "iPad" and the "High" prove to the fans of The Chainsmokers, young and old, why the duo from Los Angeles remains one of the biggest names in the EDM scene.
The Chainsmokers recently announced that they plan to release their fourth album "as soon as possible".
