"Music" received two Golden Globe nominations and Sia celebrates its success with the release of "Floating Through Space".
Sia and David Guetta are a duo with proven chemistry and a long history that counts numerous successes.
The Australian singer and songwriter collaborates with the French DJ and music producer on a new song entitled "Floating Through Space", which will be included in the soundtrack of the upcoming movie "Music".
"Floating Through Space" comes a day after the triumph of Sia's first film in the 2021 Golden Globe nominations.
"Music" is vying for the Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical, while Kate Hudson is being nominated for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role in Sia 's directorial debut.
The film, starring Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr. and Maddie Ziegler, is expected to be released on on demand platforms on February 12.
The same day will be revealed by Monkey Puzzle and Atlantic Records / Warner Music the album "Music - Songs From And Inspired By The Motion Picture", which will contain 10 songs written by Sia for the needs of the film and 4 other tracks inspired by the film.
The songs "Together", "Courage To Change" and "Hey Boy" have already been pre-arranged for the musical universe of the movie "Music".
"Floating Through Space" now takes the baton.
This is the ninth song that Sia and David Guetta have released together as part of their creative collaboration, from which singles such as "Titanium" (2011), "Flames" (2018) and "Let's Love" have emerged. (2020).
