Nicki Minaj - Red Ruby Da Sleeze

Nicki Minaj is back in her hometown.

Two months after releasing her latest single 'Red Ruby Da Sleeze', Nicki Minaj is back with a new music video for the song.

In the video for "Red Ruby Da Sleeze," Nicki Minaj is in her native Trinidad and Tobago for Carnival 2023.

The hip-hop star raps the fiery rhymes of "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" as she frolics in a robe and bathing suit next to a pool surrounded by the Caribbean Sea.

Nicki Minaj also walks the streets of the city and takes night walks.

"Red Ruby Da Sleeze," which uses a sample from Lumidee's classic 2003 hit "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)," proves that Nicki Minaj still dominates rap music.

This is also the theme of the single's lyrics, where Nicki Minaj takes on the female rappers who think they can compete with her.

'Red Ruby Da Sleeze' is Nicki Minaj's first single of 2023 and follows her 2022 hit 'Super Freaky Girl'.

Earlier this week, Nicki Minaj revealed her new record is on the way and claimed her next album after 2018's 'Queen' will be "the best thing to come out in 2023".

While it's not yet known if "Red Ruby Da Sleeze" will be included on the album she's been working on for a while, Nicki Minaj released a string of singles last year including "Bussin'" and "Do We Have a Problem?" » featuring Lil Baby, 'Fivio Foreign' featuring Fivio Foreign, as well as 'Super Freaky Girl'.

Over the past few months, Nicki Minaj has also been featured on songs like Kim Petras' "Alone," Ice Spice's "Princess Diana" remix, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again's "WTF," continuing to be prolific.
