Megan Thee Stallion collaborated with the fashion house Mugler for the needs of the music video for her latest single "Plan B".
The 27-year-old hip-hop star impresses with her appearances in shapely black Mugler clothes, before sinking into a black pool with water. The rapper then undresses while blasting an ex with her bars.
The seductive music video was directed by Mugler's creative director. Casey Cadwallader and John Miserendino.
Megan Thee Stallion presented "Plan B" for the first time during her dazzling appearance at the first three days of the "Coachella" music festival last April, in front of thousands of fans.
"This song is very personal to me and is for anyone," said Megan Thee Stallion from the stage for "Plan B," which was released a week later.
It should be noted that "Plan B" uses samples from the remix for the classic song "Freek'n You" by Jodeci with the participation of Raekwon and Ghostface Killah of the Wu-Tang Clan, which was released in 1995.
"Plan B" debuted at No. 6 of Billboard Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs, with Megan Thee Stallion thus being in the Top 10 of the chart for each year from 2019 until today.
According to Luminate, "Plan B" garnered 12 million streams in the United States in its first week of release and debuted at No. 4 on R&B / Hip-Hop Streaming Songs.
At the same time, it recorded 4,000 downloads to enter No. 4 of the R & B / Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales Chart.
"Plan B" follows the collaboration of Megan Thee Stallion with Dua Lipa in the fiery song "Sweetest Pie", which was uploaded to No. 15 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Megan Thee Stallion has almost completed the recording of her next album after the "Good News" of 2020. "In fact, I have completed about 95% of my new album," she said recently.
