Harry Styles is a sea creature with a talent for singing in his 'Music For A Sushi Restaurant' video.
Harry Styles has just released the music video for the song 'Music For A Sushi Restaurant' from his album 'Harry's House'.
In the Aube Perrie-directed video shot in Brooklyn, New York last month, the 28-year-old pop star appears as a majestic, bearded sea creature who is rounded up by a group of fishermen and prepared to be cooked at a sushi restaurant with name "Gill's".
After Harry Styles washes up on shore, he is taken to the restaurant's kitchen, where he is forced to watch the chefs prepare more seafood. Although he initially has fear in his eyes, the staff wins him over by throwing him fish and giving him a bath.
But when the staff realize that he is actually a talented singer, they pull him out of the boiling cauldron and transform their restaurant into a live music venue and prepare 'Sea Creature Harry' for a special performance.
Harry Styles turns into an absolute diva of the sea but when he suddenly loses his voice in the middle of the program, he has to go back to the menu.
A day before the music video for 'Music For A Sushi Restaurant' was released, Harry Styles released a teaser advertising a fictional sushi restaurant called 'Gill's Lounge'.
You can even visit the website of Gill’s Sushi, which is billed as “your new favorite spot for rare and eclectic seafood delights.”
“Our rotating menu changes with the tide, and our chefs just caught a big fish. Dine and dance the night away to the great music of our catch of the day. Because here, everything is allowed. Your imagination is our first priority," the website states.
'Music For A Sushi Restaurant' is the third song from Harry Styles' album 'Harry's House' to get its own music video.
In July, the music video for "Late Night Talking" was released, while in April, about a month and a half before the arrival of "Harry's House", Harry Styles opened the chapter of his third personal album with "As It Was".
"As It Was" has spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and has made history as the longest-running solo song at the top of the chart, while also completing 24 consecutive weeks at No. 1 of the International Airplay Chart in Greece, where it has gone platinum twice.
"Music For A Sushi Restaurant" has already gone gold in the US and climbed into the Top 10 at pop radio, with Harry Styles becoming the first male artist to have three songs in the Top 10 at the same time ("As It Was," " Late Night Talking' and 'Music For A Sushi Restaurant').
Earlier this year, 'Music For A Sushi Restaurant' invested in advertising the new Apple AirPods, with Harry Styles donating his fee to the humanitarian organization International Rescue Committee (International Rescue Committee) to help refugees.
