BTS: "Butter" made its debut in YouTube and Spotify


BTS '"Butter" set two impressive records.
BTS continue to write history fearlessly with each release.

The new single of the K-pop band entitled "Butter" was released on Friday, May 21 and in just 24 hours managed to break two historical records at the same time.

Butter's stylish music video is now the video that has garnered the most views in 24 hours on YouTube, having been viewed 108.2 million times.

"Butter" toppled a performance owned by BTS themselves and the "Dynamite" video, which had similarly made its YouTube debut in August 2020, garnering 101.1 million views in 24 hours.

It is worth mentioning that BTS has seven music videos in the list of the 20 videos that have received the most views on YouTube in 24 hours.

In first place is "Butter" with 108.2 million views in 24 hours, at No. 2 is "Dynamite" with 101.1 million views, at No. 5 we meet "Boy With Luv" with the participation of Halsey with 74.6 million views and in No. 6 is "Life Goes On" with 71.6 million views.

Also in No. 12 is the video "On" (Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima) with 46.5 million views, at No. 13 is "Idol" with 45.9 million views and in No. 14 is followed by "On" with 43.8 million views in 24 hours.

The new BTS single made history on another digital platform.

"Butter" set the record for best debut on Spotify, garnering 11,042,335 million streams from around the world on its first day of release.

The previous record was held by the collaboration of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber on the song "I Don't Care", which debuted with 10,977,389 streams when it was released in May 2019.
