Memphis rapper GloRilla is currently on a wild rise.
Earlier this year, he released 'FNF (Let's Go)', an underground hit that went viral and entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
This success earned GloRilla a contract with rap king Yo Gotti's CMG record label to debut on the label with the release of the song 'Tomorrow' a few months ago.
GloRilla and Gotti then joined forces on a single called "Blessed."
This time, Glorilla releases a new version of "Tomorrow" featuring the inimitable Cardi B.
The music video for the "Tomorrow" remix showcases Glorilla and Cardi B's chemistry on screen as they rap over hard yet simple beats.
In the video for "Tomorrow 2," directed by Diesel Filmz, GloRilla and her friends go wild in Cardi B's hometown of New York, pole-dancing on subway poles and climbing on car sunroofs.
Then Cardi B herself appears to launch a tirade against her rivals, whom she did not name: “She says she's my rival but I don't know her, I had to look her up. I've been in the neck of these softies for so long that sometimes my foot gets wedged in,” he says.
Ahead of the release of her collaboration with Glorilla, Cardi B accused social media users of bullying young rappers who know success too quickly.
"You can tell a lot of these girls who have viral songs are normal girls next door who get overnight fame and you do everything to bully them and rob them of their self esteem," she tweeted.
Cardi B has long been a fan of GloRilla, as she was spotted listening to GloRilla's original version shortly after pleading guilty to assault charges in 2018.
The 29-year-old rapper also posted a photo in which she appears to be leaving the courthouse, with a caption - an ode to GloRilla's "Tomorrow."
"Every day the sun won't shine, but that's why I love tomorrow," she wrote.
