Continuing an impressive year, Anitta releases a sexy new single titled 'Lobby' featuring Missy Elliott.
The song heralds the arrival of the Deluxe Edition of her critically-acclaimed new album 'Versions Of Me' on August 25th.
Anitta gave a taste of 'Lobby' with a TikTok video, raising the anticipation of her fans around the world.
'Lobby', produced by Ryan Tedder, is an English-language fusion of funk and disco with a dancefloor-ready disco beat and a storming bassline.
"Kiss me from the roof to the lobby," sings Anitta on the chorus.
Meanwhile, the legendary Missy Elliott appears with a classic verse characterized by her ambiguous lyrics and inimitable flow.
Anitta sparked excitement with an earlier Instagram post in which she appeared alongside Missy Elliott and admitted: "I honestly can't believe what's happening right now."
"I wanted Missy on a song, but I never thought it would be possible," the Brazilian singer said in an interview with Apple Music.
“I mean, I don't know… she just said yes! He heard the song and said yes. Search all my other work and my music and my songs. He just said yes and I couldn't believe it! "When I got her verse and heard it, I was like, 'Oh my God!'" he continued.
"I jumped out of bed and was like, 'Oh my God.' And then when he came to shoot the music video, I was crying when he got there. I was crying, I was saying, 'I can't believe this is happening,'" he added.
Earlier this month, Anitta prefaced the deluxe edition of her 'Versions Of Me' album with the hot and seductive music video for 'Gata'. In addition to trending on YouTube, the video has garnered over 4.5 million views.
Last week followed Anitta's fiery collaboration with Maluma on new song 'El Que Espera', which already has over 5 million views on YouTube.
Fresh off the release of the Deluxe Edition of her 'Versions Of Me' album, Anitta will take to the stage at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday 28 August, where she is expected to sing her hit 'Envolver'.
