Check out the first footage from The Weeknd's music video for "Is There Someone Else?".
The Weeknd has big plans for this weekend.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of his fifth album, 'Dawn FM', the 32-year-old singer plans to unveil the music video for the song 'Is There Someone Else?' on Saturday January 7th.
The Weeknd confirmed the news, which he announced a few days earlier, by posting a teaser for the music video for his "Is There Someone Else?" on his social media accounts.
"Is There Someone Else?" The video is released on the one year anniversary of “Dawn FM”… Back to it,” he wrote in his message.
In the trailer, The Weeknd and a woman hold hands as they enter an apartment with a view of the city, while flashbacks of a hot lingerie shoot flash across the screen.
At the end, the Canadian singer grabs a chillingly realistic mask of a human face.
Earlier this week, The Weeknd unveiled another clip from the music video for "Is There Someone Else?". In this case he appears in the same creepy mask watching footage of the same woman in her underwear.
"Dawn FM turns one this week," he captioned the video at the time.
"Dawn FM" was released on January 7th and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The Weeknd joined forces on the album with a wide range of collaborators including Jim Carrey, Tyler, the Creator, Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones and Josh Safdie.
The Weeknd is famous for his psychedelic and experimental music videos, especially for the songs on his album 'Dawn FM'.
The video for "Out Of Time," for example, follows The Weeknd on a romantic date with "Squid Game's" HoYeon Jung, which turns into a terrifying nightmare, with Jim Carrey making a brief appearance playing a surgeon performing a face transplant on the singer.
And on "Sacrifice," The Weeknd is forcibly strapped to a spinning occult platform by a group of terrifying people who all wear black and have their faces covered.
