Selena Gomez has given her fans an idea of what to expect from her next album.
During a recent interview with Zane Lowe and Apple Music, Selena Gomez opened up about moving forward with her career following the release of her documentary 'My Mind & Me' on Apple TV+.
Selena Gomez has revealed that a new album is in the works, in which we will hear her sing about hitherto unknown subjects.
"To be honest, now I'm telling stories that people don't know," said the pop star.
"For people I've been in a relationship with that people don't know about. For experiences I had that people don't know about. I've created this private life that's just mine," he explained.
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez is willing to risk getting her heart broken in the pursuit of love.
The 30-year-old singer, who has previously dated the likes of Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, remains determined to find love despite the pain she's been through in the past.
"I feel like giving myself completely to something is the best way to love," she said during an appearance on Jay Shetty's "On Purpose" podcast.
"But I never wanted the pain I went through to put a shield over me – an armor if you will – and I never let that happen, because I still believe and hope," she continued.
Selena Gomez added that even though she sometimes feels like her chances of finding love are slim, she's still looking forward.
"Of course there are days when I feel like I'm so far away. But I'd rather keep my heart broken than not feel at all," she said.
Selena Gomez's last full-length album was 'Rare' which was released in January 2020.
While fans will have to wait until she reveals more details about her next record, in the meantime, they can listen to the new song "My Mind & Me" that Selena Gomez released last week in conjunction with the documentary of the same name.
