Sabrina Carpenter has broken new ground in mobilizing voter engagement ahead of an election.
The *Espresso* singer led more fans to register and participate in the voting process than any other artist. According to HeadCount, a voter-engagement nonprofit that collaborates with musicians, Sabrina, 25, inspired 35,814 fans to register to vote during her *Short n' Sweet* tour across the U.S. HeadCount works to increase democratic participation by partnering with musicians to reach a broad audience.
In addition to voter registrations, Sabrina motivated another 263,087 people to engage in the electoral process by checking their registration status or finding polling locations.
Following her record-breaking success, Ariana Grande came in second, registering 15,591 new voters, with Green Day securing 7,900 new registrations during their *Saviors Tour*.
“Thanks to partnerships with over 100 top artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Green Day, and Ariana Grande, HeadCount had an incredible year, registering more than 450,000 new voters and engaging over a million people to ensure they vote,” said Lucille Wenegieme, HeadCount’s executive director.
“Our model is effective because musicians and celebrities have a powerful cultural influence and personal connection with their fans, especially young audiences, whose identity as a fan often transcends political affiliation. We’re immensely grateful to our artist partners for inspiring their fans to take charge of their future.”
