P!nk offered to pay the fine of the Norwegian women's handball team

P! Nk expressed its solidarity with the athletes of the Norwegian women's handball team.
P! Nk offered to pay the fine of 1,500 euros imposed by the European Handball Federation on the Norwegian women's national beach handball team for appearing in a match with shorts instead of a bikini.

According to "People", the European Handball Federation claimed that the team played in the match with "inappropriate clothing" due to its collective decision.

"I am very proud of the Norwegian women beach beach handball team who protested against the very sexist rules for their 'uniform'," P! Nk wrote on Twitter.

"A fine must be imposed on the European Handball Federation. Well done, ladies. I will be happy to pay your fines. "Keep going," he added.

The players of the Norwegian women's national beach handball team were asked to pay a fine of 150 euros each after the match against Spain for the third place of the European Beach Handball Championship, which was held in Bulgaria last week.

The rules of the International Handball Federation - which are now disputed by many - state that "women athletes must wear a bikini with a tight fit and a cut at an angle up to the top of the foot".

It also states that "the side width (of the bikini should be at most 10 cm".

Katinka Haltvik, a player of the Norwegian team, said that the decision to wear shorts was made at the last minute by the whole team. "It was very spontaneous," he said. "We thought, 'Let's do it now and then see what happens.'"
