Niall Horan 'talks all the time' to One Direction

Niall Horan is grateful for the relationship he continues to have with the rest of One Direction.

One characteristic of Niall Horan is that he never shies away from an opportunity to reminisce about his favorite days with One Direction.

And he did it again during his appearance on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', where he explained that the band's start on 'X Factor' is fresh in his mind as he wraps up his first season as a coach on America's 'The Voice' and stressed how grateful he is that their bonds are still intact, at least as far as he's concerned.

"We talk all the time, so that's a nice little thing we have," Niall Horan told fellow "The Voice" coach Kelly Clarkson about the support he still gets today from his bandmates.

Kelly Clarkson, who also rose through a singing competition, albeit under very different circumstances, admitted she wished she had the backing of a group like him.

"Especially on the show, we've been very lucky," Niall Horan replied. “You saw all the other artists melt down all the time about everything. And we were just 16, 17, 18, 19 – whatever. It was so much fun,” she continued.

Kelly Clarkson also admitted that she thought One Direction had won the 'X Factor' and only found out in the middle of filming 'The Voice' that they had actually come third.

"I'd do it again," Niall Horan said, adding jokingly: "That's why I do The Voice."

All this One Direction talk has fired up fans who believe Niall Horan and Harry Styles have a collaboration in the works.

Ahead of the release of his new album, 'The Show', on June 9, Niall Horan mailed his fans square-shaped promotional candles reminiscent of a cloudy blue sky.

The same image, One Direction fans realized, was featured in a photo from the sets of an unreleased Harry Styles music video from 2022.

Harry Styles recently won Album of the Year for 'Harry's House' at the 2023 BRIT Awards and thanked each member of One Direction individually.

“I want to thank Niall, Louis, Liam and Zayn, without you I wouldn't be here. Thank you very much. And I'm really, really grateful for that," he said.

Both Liam Payne and Niall Horan took to the internet to celebrate Harry Styles' win.

A few days later, when Niall Horan released the first single from 'The Show', 'Heaven', Louis Tomlinson shared the song on his Instagram stories.
