Madonna: "Putin has violated every human rights agreement"

Madonna declares her support for Ukraine amid ongoing war with Russia and blasts Russian President Vladimir Putin for blatantly violating the human rights of Ukrainian citizens by the Russian invasion.

The 63-year-old singer posted on social media a video created by her fans, which accompanied a remix of her song "Sorry" from 2005.

"Russia's pointless and greedy invasion of Ukraine must stop!" The pop queen wrote in the caption of the post.

"Please send humanitarian aid to help the millions of Ukrainian citizens whose lives are being affected by this crisis right now!"

"Putin has violated every agreement on human rights that exists. Putin has no right to try to erase the existence of Ukraine. We support you, President Zelensky! "We pray for you and your country!" He stressed.

"God bless you all! Let us not feel helpless when confronted with geopolitical actions of this magnitude. There are things we can do. Glory to Ukraine! "Glory to the heroes!" He concluded

Madonna also added to her CV section of Instagram a link to her fans in an article by Global Citizen on "9 Important Ways to Help Ukraine."

This is not the first time Madonna has used the "Sorry" remix to make a statement. In 2006 he used the song to musically invest in an anti-war video shown on the "Confessions Tour".

As the death toll rises, Vladimir Putin escalates tensions, prompting orders to put Russia's nuclear arsenal on "special" alert.

"Western countries are not only taking hostile economic actions against our country, but the leaders of the major NATO countries are making aggressive statements about our country. That is why I order the Russian deterrent forces to be placed on a special duty regime, "said Vladimir Putin on the fourth day since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has agreed to send a Ukrainian delegation to Belarus to start peace talks.

The Ukrainian presidency issued a statement confirming that its delegation had agreed to enter into talks with Russia "unconditionally" in Gomel on the border between the two countries.

Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier refused to meet with a Russian delegation in Minsk, given the Lukashenko regime's involvement in the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
