Little Mix are making history on the British charts

Little Mix became the first female band in history to be found for a total of 100 weeks in the Top 10 of the Official Singles Chart of the United Kingdom.

The same week that the wax figures of the group were unveiled at the iconic "Madame Tussauds" museum, Little Mix's collaboration with Galantis and David Guetta on the song "Heartbreak Anthem" went up to No. 7 of the United Kingdom, giving the band a unique record.

Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock celebrated the milestone by thanking the band's fans with a statement to the British Official Charts Company (OCC): "Wow! It's amazing and we would not have done it without you. You never stop impressing us. You are incredible and we would not be here without you. Thanks".

Little Mix held the record for the female band with the most weeks of total appearances in the Top 10 of the Official Singles Chart of the United Kingdom before reaching the milestone of 100 weeks.

In the second place of the relevant list with the female band with the most weeks of stay in the Top 10 of the British charts for singles are the Girls Aloud with 61 weeks in the Top 10, followed in the third place by the emblematic group The Supremes with 59 weeks, in the fourth Sugababes with 57 weeks and the Spice Girls with 50 weeks are in the top five.

Little Mix has 18 singles that have appeared in the Top 10 in the United Kingdom and five singles that have won No. 1, most recently "Sweet Melody" last January.
