Kylie Minogue sends Madonna her best wishes and support after her hospital stay

Kylie Minogue said she "sympathizes" with Madonna and wished her a "speedy recovery".
Kylie Minogue has sent her best wishes to Madonna following her recent health ordeal.

In June, Madonna was taken to hospital and placed in intensive care after suffering from a "severe bacterial infection".

The news was announced by her long-time manager Guy Oseary, while the 64-year-old singer was forced to postpone the start of her 40th anniversary tour, The Celebration Tour.

Madonna was set to kick off the tour on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada and then travel to New York, Chicago, Miami, Washington, D.C., Houston, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

After Madonna confirmed that she is feeling better and will make a full recovery, Kylie Minogue sent her best wishes and noted that she understands the health issues caused by back-to-back tours.

Speaking recently to E! News, Kylie Minogue said she "sympathizes" with Madonna and added that she wants to join all her fans in wishing her a "speedy recovery."

“I empathize with everyone who tours, but especially women who tour. I think it takes a bit more work for us and it's so hard for you as a whole," said Kylie Minogue.

"I'm definitely going to get my ticket and go see Madonna when she's back on tour," he continued.

Recently, Kylie Minogue revealed that she dreams of working with Madonna.

When asked in an interview on the sidelines of her appearance at the annual KTUphoria festival in New York last month if she would be open to working with Madonna, Kylie Minogue replied: “I would. Of course I would!

“He's going on tour. I don't have Madonna's phone, but if I was in town and she was in town, that would be amazing. There would probably be an earthquake. We should send a warning!” he added.

As Madonna continues to feel better, she attended Beyoncé's concert at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday, July 30.

Earlier this week, Madonna also confirmed that she will be announcing new dates for her North American The Celebration Tour "in the coming days."
