Katy Perry, Post Malone and J Balvin join forces with the Pokémon.
The 25th anniversary of the Pokémon debut will be celebrated with a new album entitled "Pokémon 25: The Album" which will be released in the fall of 2021.

The album will consist of 14 songs performed by 11 different Universal Music Group artists, including Katy Perry, Post Malone and J Balvin.

On February 26, the first taste of the album was given with the release of a wonderful post by Mal Malon on the classic song "Only Wanna Be With You" by the American rock band Hootie & the Blowfish from the 1990s.

Also Katy Perry, J Balvin and another surprise artist will each release a song inspired by the Pokémon franchise, along with a music video and a collection of merchandise.

J Balvin commented on his participation in "Pokémon 25: The Album": "Pokémon are doing everything they can to make" P25 Music "a success and I'm excited to be part of the program as one of its top collaborators."

"I look forward to adding my own unique flavor to this huge Pokémon party and adding more good vibes to the celebration," he added.

"Pokémon 25: The Album", which is part of the "P25 Music" program for the 25 years of Pokémon, will be released by Capitol Records of Universal Music Group.
