Kanye West and JAY-Z seal the restoration of their relationship with a new musical collaboration.
Kanye West is collaborating with JAY-Z again five years after their last record meeting.
The two hip-hop stars have a long history of partnerships culminating in the early 2010s, but their relationship broke down in 2014 due to the decision of JAY-Z and his wife Beyoncé not to attend the wedding of Kanye West and by Kim Kardashian.
However, it seems that the relationship between the two rappers has been restored after the recent divorce of Kanye and Kim. Proof is JAY-Z's involvement in a song on Kanye West's new album "Donda".
Kanye West debuted his upcoming album and song with JAY-Z at a sold out event hosted at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, USA on Thursday, July 22nd.
"This could be the return of 'The Throne' / Hova and Yeezus as Moses and Jesus, '" JAY-Z says in the song he shares with JAY-Z, referring to the album "Watch The Throne" »Which were released together in 2011.
According to a tweet by producer Young Guru, JAY-Z recorded his participation in the song "at 16:00 noon" before the audition event for Kanye West's new album.
The "Donda" was scheduled to be released on Friday, July 23, but until now, fans are still waiting.
The last record meeting of Kanye West and JAY-Z was held in 2016 in the song "Pop Style" by Drake.
