"In the end love will always be greater than hate and negativity," commented Hailey Bieber.
Hailey Bieber has broken her silence on the death threats she allegedly received from Selena Gomez fans over her relationship with Justin Bieber.
The 26-year-old model posted a lengthy message to her Instagram Stories thanking Selena Gomez for "speaking up" and revealing that the two have been "discussing for the past few weeks how to move past" the ongoing rumors of a feud between them.
Earlier, Selena Gomez had urged her fans in a post on her Instagram stories to stop harassing and bullying Hailey Bieber.
The singer said Hailey Bieber contacted her privately to let her know she was receiving threats against her life and "hateful negativity."
"The past few weeks have been very difficult for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate about it all, which is extremely hurtful," Justin Bieber's wife wrote in her message.
"While social media is an incredible way to connect and build communities, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together," he continued.
“Things can always go off topic or be interpreted differently than intended. We all need to be more careful about what we post and say, including me," he stressed.
"In the end, I believe that love will always be greater than hate and negativity and that there is always an opportunity to treat each other with more empathy and compassion," concluded Hailey Bieber.
This isn't the first time Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez have denied rumors of a feud with each other.
In October 2022, they were photographed together at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum Gala, and as a source revealed to E! News, they both agreed to pose together in front of the lens to send their own message.
"They wanted to show that there really is no hatred between them. It was a moment and an opportunity to leave all the noise behind them and they grabbed it," said a source from Selena Gomez's environment at the time.
