YouTube celebrates Pride Month with a special event.
Elton John and David Furnish have been added to the list of co-hosts of the YouTube Pride 2021 virtual event that will air on Friday, June 25th.
The top artist and his wife enrich the already full list of hosts of the event, which includes Demi Lovato, Olly Alexander, Mawaan Rizwan, Trixie Mattel and Daniel Howell.
In addition to the long-running main event of YouTube Pride 2021, each of the hosts will host their own pride party on their respective personal YouTube channel.
Each YouTube Pride 2021 party will include its own combination of musical performances, fundraisers and special guests.
Among the special guests who will appear at the YouTube Pride parties are Gigi Gorgeous, Elle of the Mills, Denali Foxx, Kim Chi, KingOfReads, Monet X Change, Jackson Bird, Jade Fox, Alannized, PatrickStarr, Munroe Bergdorf, Peppermint, the Fitness Marshall and Tyler Oakley.
Throughout the event, spectators will be encouraged to make donations to various organizations supporting the LGBTQIA community, such as the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Trevor Project and AKT.
Fans are also encouraged to take part in a "call to action" by uploading videos in which they share their own pride stories and ask questions of the hosts.el
