Continuing his incredible streak, renowned DJ and music producer David Guetta is collaborating with British DJ and trend creator MistaJam and talented pop soul singer John Newman on the new single "If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)".
This is an updated version of Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" which was released in 1985 as part of her first solo album.
David Guetta states: "Who can resist the chorus of such a classic song as" How Will I Know! ". Full of old-school piano house rhythm, it has sunlight throughout. The collaboration with MistaJam and John Newman made it my song for the summer of 2021 ".
MistaJam comments: "Whitney Houston's first album, which included the original 'How Will I Know', always played in my home as I grew up. I still have the vinyl! Well, it's very nice that we changed the meaning of this song to "If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)" from something for the beginning of a relationship to something for the end of a relationship.
"As an artist I have admired for years, it was amazing to finally be able to work with David Guetta, especially with John Newman, whom I have had the pleasure of supporting since the beginning of his career," he adds.
John Newman says: "I had the idea to remake this classic Whitney song for a long time, as it is such a special song for me and my wife. We gave a new story and a feeling of my own to the already incredible song in such a natural way to bring this new version to life ".
"When I got the chance to do this song with David Guetta, someone I always wanted to work with, I didn't need a second thought at all," he said.
"If You Really Love Me (How Will I Know)" is released by Warner Records and follows for David Guetta their recent collaborations with Joel Corry and RAYE on "BED" and with Galantis and Little Mix on " Heartbreak Anthem ».
