Cardi B is going to release her new single this week.
The rapper prepared her fans and informed them that she intended to make an announcement. The audience of the 28-year-old American did not have to make many guesses and immediately assumed that the news would be about new music.
Indeed, Cardi B revealed that it is returning with a new single titled "UP" and also announced that the song will be released digitally next Friday, February 5th.
"UP" will mark Cardi B's first song since her collaboration with Megan The Stallion on the much-discussed "WAP", which was released in August 2020 and topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Despite the success of "WAP", Cardi B decided not to submit the song itself for evaluation for the Grammy Awards of 2021, as a result of which it was not eligible for nomination.
However, rumors suggest that "WAP" will be nominated for the next Grammy Awards along with Cardi B.'s second solo album.
