Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak did not rest during the pandemic period, waiting to pass to return to action.
The two Grammy-winning artists used the time they had at their disposal to collaborate and create a new band that they named "Silk Sonic".
The first song by Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak as Silk Sonic will be released in the coming days, while a complete album by the duo is expected to follow.
"We were locked in and created an album," Mars wrote in a social media post.
"The band is called Silk Sonic. The first song will be released next Friday, March 5 ", he added, without revealing the title of the single.
Bruno Mars and Anderson. Paak toured together in 2017 and that same year reportedly met at Abbey Road Studios in London to write music with Disclosure and Nile Rodgers.
Bruno Mars's latest album was "24K Magic" released in 2016, while his last two record appearances were in 2019 when he released the single "Please Me" in collaboration with Cardi B and co-starred with Chris Stapleton in song "Blow" on the album "No.6 Collaborations Project" by Ed Sheeran.
