Kevin Federline Lives in Fear for Britney Spears' Life - Claims Singer Uses Crystal Meth
Britney Spears' ex-husband and father of her two children fears the 41-year-old singer is using hard drugs.
Britney Spears' social media outbursts have worried her fans, and Kevin Federline has admitted he lives in fear for the singer's life.
In the same vein, Britney Spears' two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, are desperate for their mother to get help.
Kevin Federline claimed speaking to director Daphne Barak: “I'm afraid he's on meth – I'm praying that someone will come out and wake up. It's scary. She is the mother of my boys."
"Every time the phone rings, I'm afraid I'm going to hear bad news. I don't want the boys to wake up one morning and find out their mother has overdosed,” he continued.
Daphne Barak spent nine months with Kevin Federline, Britney Spears' sons, her parents and her brother for a new documentary.
As the director reported to the Mail on Sunday newspaper, Sean Preston and Jayden are refusing to meet their mother because they claim they saw drugs being delivered to the singer's home.
"All we want is for her to listen to us," said 17-year-old Sean Preston, the eldest son of Britney Spears.
Britney's father, Jamie Spears, is also worried that his daughter will die young like Amy Winehouse, who passed away in 2011 at the age of 27.
"Yes, yes, exactly... Britney can die like Amy," she told Daphne Barak.
And while Jamie Spears has been heavily criticized by Britney Spears for his role in imposing and overseeing the guardianship that limited her life for 13 years until it expired in November 2021, he insisted that all he was doing was looking after for the benefit of his daughter.
"Compare how her condition was then and how she is now," he said.
Earlier this year, reports suggested that Britney Spears' inner circle were planning an intervention due to concerns about the singer's health.
The intervention was allegedly organized by Jodi Montgomery, who was responsible for the guardianship of Britney Spears and had remained with her team at her request.
While Britney Spears claimed via Instagram that there was no such plan, Daphne Barak revealed that the intervention was canceled at the last minute.
“Jodi had told Kevin to prepare his boys for what was about to happen. He was shooting with me when the moment came,” he recalled.
“I could see him being stressed, glued to his phone as he waited for a text from Jodi to tell him the intervention was in progress. But no text ever came – just a text saying Jodi had withdrawn,” he described.
“When the rumors hit the internet, Britney denied the story on Instagram – claiming there was no such plan. But I was there. In fact, he had been tipped off and the plan collapsed,” he added.
The director claimed that a worried relative of the singer told her: "This was our last chance to save her."
While Preston and Jayden have had "nice conversations" on the phone with their mother, they aren't "ready" to visit her.
Britney Spears' two sons cited their mother's erratic behavior and recalled her insistence on continuing to bathe them when they were 11 and 12, and that she once stood by Jayden's bedroom door holding a knife.
Daphne Barak noted: “The boys are doing everything they can to focus on their future. It is clear that they feel powerless to interfere in their mother's life. Their only strength is to stay away, hoping that one day he will understand their reasons and they can restore their relationship."
