Taylor Swift: 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version)' Lesson at Stanford University

The course promises an "in-depth analysis" of the emotional lyrics of "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)".

Students at California's historic Stanford University will be able to take a new class next quarter themed around Taylor Swift's "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)."

The course, cleverly titled "All Too Well (10 Week Version)," will be offered during the top university's upcoming winter semester as part of courses taught under the umbrella of Stanford's Introductory Studies.

The course promises an "in-depth analysis" of the emotional lyrics of "All Too Well (10 Minute Version)", taught by university graduate Nona Hungate.

According to the Stanford University website, each of the courses offers students an introduction to topics taught by alumni of the program.

Different courses are offered each term, which are student-led and focus on hands-on learning, having tackled topics such as travel destination sketching, watercolour, music composition, improvisational acting, animation and digital art, among many others.

Taylor Swift's artistic work is increasingly being studied at many universities in the United States.

In February 2022, New York University's Clive Davis Institute for Recorded Music launched its first class on Taylor Swift, taught by Rolling Stonne editor Brittany Spanos.

Last August, the University of Texas at Austin introduced a new liberal arts course on Taylor Swift's songs called "Literary Contests and Contexts – The Taylor Swift Songbook."

As part of the course, the singer-songwriter's work was studied alongside works by classic writers and poets such as Shakespeare, Geoffrey Chaucer, Thomas Wyatt, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, John Keats, Emily Dickinson and Sylvia Plath and 'required texts' involving four of her most recent albums.

In May 2022, Taylor Swift received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from New York University and was the valedictorian of that year's class.

The legendary ten-minute version of 'All Too Well' was first released in November 2021 on Taylor Swift's 'Red (Taylor's Version)' album, the re-recording of 2012's 'Red' and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
