Shakira breaks 14 Guinness World Records with 'BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53"

Guinness World Records announced that Shakira broke 14 records on the Spotify and Billboard charts thanks to her collaboration with Argentinian DJ Bizarrap on 'BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53".

Among the records he broke, 'BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” – the scathing electropop banger directed at her ex-partner Gerard Piqué – became the most streamed Latin song on Spotify in both 24 hours and one week.

The song garnered 14.4 million streams in a single day and 80.6 million streams in a week of its release.

The 'BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” also broke the record for the fastest Latin song to reach 100 million views on YouTube, as it managed to reach the milestone in around 70 hours, and broke the record for the most viewed Latin song in 24 hours on YouTube – with 63 million views in a single day.

With the song, Shakira also became the first female singer to debut in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with a Spanish-language song and the first woman to replace herself at No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay charts.

The 'BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53" also helped Shakira set the record for the female artist with the most Top 10 hits on both Billboard's Hot Latin Songs and Latin Airplay Charts.

Other accolades include the record for the Spanish-language song by a female artist topping the most Billboard charts and the female artist with the most No. 1s on the Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Airplay and Latin Digital Song Sales charts.

To date, “BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53" has over 403 million streams on Spotify, while the song's music video has garnered over 410 million views on YouTube.

The 'BZRP Music Sessions Vol. 53” has given Shakira and Bizarrap four records together, and another 10 records for Shakira.

Following her collaboration with Bizarrap, Shakira joins forces with Karol G on 'TQG' from her Colombian compatriot's new album 'Mañana Será Bonito'.
