Marshmello will have two special guests in his appearance in the Champions League final.
Selena Gomez and Khalid will appear alongside Marshmello at the opening ceremony of the UEFA Champions League final.
Marshmello announced the news by posting a video in which he borrows the way in which the draw is made for each phase of the top inter-club organization in the world.
In the video, the American DJ and music producer selects from the draw two seemingly random balls which contain a piece of paper with the names of Selena Gomez and Khalid respectively.
"Hello, Selena Gomez and Khalid, see you at the opening ceremony for the UEFA Champions League final," Marshmello wrote.
The opening ceremony of the final is described as "a six-minute virtual spectacle that will use the latest technology in virtual reality".
Marhsmello has collaborated with Selena Gomez on the double platinum song "Wolves" which was released in October 2017, while a few months earlier she had met Khalid in the platinum "Silence".
This year's UEFA Champions League final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 29 at the "Estadio do Dragao" stadium in Porto, Portugal.
