Olivia Rodrigo presents the next sample of 'Guts'.
Olivia Rodrigo has announced the release of 'Bad Idea Right?', her second single from her upcoming new album 'Guts'.
As hinted in an Instagram post on Monday, August 7, Olivia Rodrigo confirmed today that 'Bad Idea Right?' will be released on digital platforms this Friday, August 11th.
Olivia Rodrigo also unveiled the single's cover art: a photo of herself posing behind a cloudy glass wall, with the song's title written on it in red lipstick.
“Bad idea right? This Friday,” the 20-year-old pop star captioned her post.
Olivia Rodrigo also sent an email to her fans, saying she is "so excited" to share "Bad Idea Right?" with them.
"The song is quite different from 'Vampire' and shows a different side of 'Guts' that is a bit more fun and playful," he commented.
"I can't wait to share it with you. With love to you always!", he added.
The 'Bad Idea Right?' follows Olivia Rodrigo's single 'Vampire', which was released on the last day of June, just days after it was announced that 'Guts' would arrive on September 8th.
Billed as a "rock opera" song, "Vampire" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Olivia Rodrigo's third song to top the chart after "Drivers License" and "Good 4 U" from her first album 'Sour'.
Last week, Olivia Rodrigo released the full tracklist for her new album 'Guts', which will include a total of 12 songs.
Besides 'Bad Idea Right?' and 'Vampire', her second album will also feature songs such as 'All American Bitch', 'Get Him Back', 'Pretty Isn't Pretty' and 'Love Is Embarrassing'.
Ahead of the reveal, Olivia Rodrigo posted a cryptic video, inviting her fans to decipher a series of clues
