A lawyer for the scheme praised the executors of Michael Jackson's estate, John Branca and John McClain, for their work in restructuring the late singer's finances.
Attorney Jeryll S noted: "The trustees have succeeded in creating extraordinary and unique opportunities that did not exist at the time of Michael Jackson's death to secure significant revenue and enhance Michael Jackson's image and legacy for the benefit of his estate beneficiaries." .
As of Dec. 31, 2021, gross revenue "was in excess of two billion dollars," he added.
Jeryll S emphasized that the trustees have made "unprecedented business deals" and cemented Michael Jackson's legacy as "an important entity in the entertainment industry."
Branca and John McClain were also praised for providing "round-the-clock support" to the singer's family, as the documents, which have been certified by a Los Angeles judge, show that all of the family's homes, mortgages, the expenses of the three children – 25-year-old Prince, 25-year-old Paris and 20-year-old Bigi – and Michael's mother Katherine.
