Madonna is reportedly working on a new album with longtime collaborator and producer Stuart Price.
The Queen of Pop, who previously teamed up with Price on her highly praised 2005 album *Confessions on a Dance Floor* and more recently for her Celebration Tour, is set to reunite with him in the studio as she prepares to release her first album since 2019’s *Madame X*.
A source told *The Sun's* Bizarre column, "Stuart was instrumental in helping Madonna return to form with *Confessions*, so their reunion is incredibly exciting. That album was phenomenal, and Madonna is eager to see what they can create together this time around. It’s been five years since *Madame X*, which was a concept album, and now she’s ready to produce new music."
The insider added, "Working with Stuart on tour reignited her passion. She’s got a fire in her belly and can’t wait to get started."
The 66-year-old pop icon confirmed she’s back in the studio with Price via a series of Instagram posts, where she also shared photos of herself and boyfriend Akeem Morris celebrating Chelsea’s Premier League win over Brighton at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
Last year, Price revealed how Madonna convinced him to join her for the Celebration Tour, which commemorates her 40 years in music. "When she announced the greatest hits tour, I called to congratulate her and said it was a brilliant idea. She responded, 'I was just thinking about you, and I thought you’d be perfect to work with on this.' Two weeks later, I was in New York."
