Lil Nas X and Doja Cat are expected to star as guest stars in the second season of the TV series "Dave".
The FX TV series, which is based on the life of rapper and comedian Dave Burd (also known as "Lil Dicky"), announced the inclusion of a series of glamorous guests in the upcoming new episodes, from which stand out the names of CL, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Benny Blanco, Kyle Kuzma, Doja Cat, Kevin Hart and Lil Nas X.
Speaking recently on "Deadline", Dave Burd claimed that the new episodes will go beyond the first season.
"Without a doubt, the second season is going to surpass the first season. "The process of writing the episodes was, unfortunately, done through Zoom and it was more difficult because meeting the writers is so much fun for me, a bunch of people are sitting together who are funny and it is another pleasure of this whole thing," he said.
"It was a bit embarrassing to reduce that joy, but it remained wonderful. Each series improves over time, for the most part, half the time last season I lacked the certainty of what we did. I prayed that I did the series I wanted to do and I did, but now I am getting better and better and I have a better idea of ââwhat I want. "I think we have a very good plan from the point of view of the script this season," he continued.
Dave Burd also revealed that during the second season his character will try to complete an album and described the process as "psychological chaos".
"I have not released an album since 2015 and that is not because I do not try hard, it is just a challenge and I have put a lot of pressure on myself," he explained.
"My character in the series goes through this journey of releasing an album trying to make ends meet in his personal life. It is more psychological and interpersonal and I feel that this season connects all the pieces ", he added.
The second cycle of the "Dave" series will premiere on June 16.
