The 53-year-old singer admitted that while the pandemic has given artists new opportunities, the live performances sector has been "hit hard" by the health crisis.
"On the one hand, the pandemic has opened up new worlds of potential where we can create almost anywhere and deliver music to the world," he told The Hindustan Times.
"But on the other hand, the live show industry has been hit hard and that's so difficult for venues, touring crews and all those involved," he added.
Kylie Minogue performed to promote her 2020 album "Disco" with a livestream concert and also appeared on Dua Lipa's online concert "Studio 2054".
As he explained, he has a "degree of hesitation" about organizing a new tour in the midst of uncertainty, but vowed to "be patient".
"It simply came to our notice then. "We all want it to succeed, so the only option right now is to move into this new world in the best possible way."
"Who knows how this will turn out in the future. "I really missed the opportunity to tour for my latest album ('Disco: Guest List Edition'), but for now I have to be patient," he added.
Kylie Minogue, who made history in 2020 as the first female artist to top the UK charts with albums in five different decades, went on to say that while she always "appreciated" the relationship she shares with its audience, the pandemic brought a "new dimension" to their connection.
"I always appreciated the fact that I can create and connect with people and the public, but the pandemic brought a new dimension to it," he said.
"I know my co-workers felt the same way. "Yes, we made remote meetings from our homes, but we talked about how lucky we felt to be able to work," he commented.
