After canceling his South American, South African and Asian tour dates, Justin Bieber has postponed all remaining dates on his 'Justice World Tour' until 'next year'.
The announcement, made via the tour's official Instagram page, states that "ticket holders will be notified of next steps when updates are made."
The tour, originally scheduled to begin in 2020, has already been postponed or delayed several times, most recently due to Justin Bieber's illness with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a rare virus that in his case caused partial facial paralysis.
The tour finally kicked off in March, and Justin Bieber performed most of his scheduled North American dates, but postponed the rest of the dates in early June after announcing he was struggling with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
According to the Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox and can lead to facial paralysis and hearing loss.
Justin Bieber continued the tour in August, but after a few shows announced on September 6 that he needed to take a break from concerts "to prioritize his health right now."
"Due to this illness, I was unable to complete the North American leg of the 'Justice' tour," he said in a message last month, adding that after taking some time to rest and consult with his family and doctors, he continued with the European leg of his tour.
The 'Justice World Tour' was set to resume on October 22 from Malaysia and move on to East Asia, Australia and New Zealand, before returning to Europe in January to continue until the end of March.
The postponed North American concerts have also not been officially cancelled.
Despite Justin Bieber's health issue, his fans are not happy with the latest announcement as they cannot get a refund until the concerts are officially cancelled.
