Jennifer Lopez recently shared her plans for the winter holidays, marking the end of what she described as a “challenging” year.

The *Get Right* singer acknowledged that 2024 hadn’t been entirely stress-free but admitted she has a deep love for Christmas. After her separation from husband Ben Affleck, 52, and the cancellation of her music tour, the 55-year-old star expressed her anticipation for some downtime with her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme.

“It’s been quite an intense year, and what I’m really looking forward to is spending time with my kids and welcoming family visiting from the East Coast,” Lopez shared with *People* magazine.

“For us, the holidays have always been special, ever since I was a little girl,” she added. “I really look forward to those moments with my sisters, where we can just relax, have fun, and make new memories.”

She described Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve as perfect times to “slow down” and “enjoy” quality family time.

“We don’t see each other much throughout the year, so we use this time to catch up on everyone’s lives,” Lopez said. “It’s just a beautiful, enjoyable time.”

Lopez also mentioned her love for holiday decor and treats, saying, “I adore the decorations, the hot chocolate, the music, the food. I’m one of those people who really tries to make the holidays feel like a storybook experience for my kids, with all of those festive details. I’m a real sucker for the holidays.”
