Imagine Dragons are coming to Greece for the first time for a spectacular show at OAKA on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
Imagine Dragons, the most "Radioactive" pop-rock band of the 21st century, will visit our country as part of their "Mercury World Tour" to remind us of everything we have loved about them and their discography.
The multi-award-winning pop rock band have added 9 new dates across Europe and the Middle East to their 'Mercury World Tour' in partnership with Live Nation.
The new leg of Imagine Dragos' 'Mercury – Acts 1 & 2' tour will kick off at Denmark's Smukfest on Wednesday August 2, before continuing to Italy, Croatia, Poland, Lithuania, France , Israel and Greece, to conclude at Chambord Live in France on September 8th.
Imagine Dragons continue to redefine rock in the 21st century.
They have justly earned the title of one of the biggest pop rock bands in the world: They have to their credit concerts in packed stadiums, huge hits, consecutive records, sales exceeding 66 million albums and 55 million digital singles and 110 billion streams.
Imagine Dragons are the only group in history with four diamond singles in the US with their hits 'Radioactive' (14x platinum), 'Believer' (10x platinum), 'Demons' (10x platinum) and 'Thunder' ( 10 times platinum).
Since forming in 2009, they have reached the Billboard 200 Top 10 five times in a row with the albums 'Night Visions (7x Platinum) in 2012, 'Smoke + Mirrors' (Platinum) in 2015, 'Evolve' (Triple Platinum ) in 2017, “Origins” (platinum) in 2018 and “Mercury – Act 1” in 2021.
With the release of 'Mercury – Act 2' this year, they completed their first double album, produced by the legendary Rick Rubin. Dominating the airwaves, Imagine Dragons are one of four bands to have appeared more than once in the Top 5 at US Alternative Radio.
At the same time, Imagine Dragons have raised huge amounts of money and do great social work with their children's cancer charity, the Tyler Robinson Foundation.
Also, frontman Dan Reynolds is the founder of the LOVELOUD Foundation and the eponymous festival in order to support the LGBTI+ community. In 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky named them ambassadors of the UNITED 24 initiative for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
