"Higher Than Heaven" is full of irresistible hits starring Ellie Goulding's signature voice, exquisite productions, pounding bass, explosive synths and gorgeous melodies.
"There's definitely been a darkness in the last couple of years that's been felt in the studio, with everyone going through it differently," says the British singer.
"I think because of that, nobody wanted to sit around and agonize over a relationship or a tension. So that's how this album came about. "Higher Than Heaven" is about mad love. But it is an exaggerated form of love, like a substance-induced feeling. It almost looks artificial and there is a possibility that it will collapse,” he explained.
Ellie Goulding is also celebrating the ten-year anniversary of the release of her second album, Halcyon, with a new digital release called Halcyon Nights.
The first part is the original album, while the second part consists of bonus tracks from the 'Halcyon' release period, including six songs that have never been available for streaming until now.
Ellie Goulding's latest album was 'Brightest Blue' which was released in July 2020 and became her third UK No.1 album. Ellie Goulding took a more personal and understated approach to 'Brightest Blue', allowing her fans to experience her most vulnerable side.
