Ed Sheeran will assist the four teams of "The Voice" during the preparation for the Knockouts round.
Ed Sheeran will be the "Mega Mentor" of the contestants in the 21st season of the American version of "The Voice", which airs on NBC.

The British singer-songwriter will co-lead along with coaches Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, John Legend and Blake Shelton the Battles Rounds bidders as they prepare for the Knockouts tour, which kicks off on October 25.

During the Knockouts phase, two contestants from the same group take to the stage of "The Voice" to perform the songs of their choice.

Ed Sheeran is expected to give singers valuable advice on their interpretive and technical choices, drawing on his vast experience in songwriting, music production and performing.

Only coaches have the opportunity to choose the winner of each pair from their team that will qualify for the Live Playoffs of "The Voice". Every coach also has the right to do a steal in Knockouts.

Ed Sheeran's participation in "The Voice" coincides with the release of his new full-length album, entitled "=" (Equals), on October 29.

In addition to Ed Sheeran, who will be the "Great Mentor" of the Knockouts contestants, the four coaches of "The Voice" will be by their side as valuable assistants in the preparation for the Battles phase, some very important artists.

Kelly Clarkson will meet Jason Aldean, Ariana Grande has invited Kristin Chenoweth, John Legend will join forces with Camila Cabello and Blake Shelton will have Dierks Bentley by his side.

The Blind Auditions of the American "The Voice" ended this week, while the four episodes of The Battles will be broadcast on October 11-12 and 18-19, respectively.
