Ed Sheeran releases an enriched version of his latest album "=" (Equals).
The "Tour Edition" renews the "=", which was originally released last fall, with the addition of nine tracks.
This new release contains the 14 songs from his original album, including the huge hits "Bad Habits" and "Shivers", as well as two brand new songs entitled "I Will Remember You" and "Welcome To The World".
Also included are the songs "One Life" and "Penguins" by Ed Sheeran for the movie "Yesterday" (2019) by Danny Boyle that were not available until today on digital platforms. The British singer wrote the two songs on the occasion of his participation in the movie "Yesterday" in a fantastic version of himself.
The "Tour Edition" of the album "=" (Equals) also contains the single "Afterglow" by Ed Sheeran which was released in December 2020 to lay the groundwork for the pop star's discographic return.
The enriched version of "=" is complemented by some of the recently released collaborations by Ed Sheeran.
Among them are the remixes for "The Joker and the Queen" with Taylor Swift, "Bad Habits" with Bring Me The Horizon, which premiered before its release at the 2022 BRIT Awards, "Peru" with Fireboy DML and the remix for "2Step" with Lil Baby, which is accompanied by a music video shot in Kyiv, Ukraine before the Russian invasion.
"=" (Equals) was released by Atlantic Records / Warner Music in October 2021 and became the fifth consecutive album by Ed Sheeran to reach number one on the UK charts and his fourth album to top the charts in the United States. .
The "Tour Edition" of "=" is released while Ed Sheeran successfully continues his world tour of the "+ - = ÷ x Tour" (Mathematics Tour). The European part of the tour started in March from England and will end in September in Germany.
