Dua Lipa brings out her inner rave girl.
Dua Lipa and Puma present the second part of their 'Flutur' collection.
The uncomplicated aesthetics of "Flutur" invites in bright colors and fitted looks, inspired by the old-school rave culture.
The new collection is characterized by bold hues, holographic details and retro silhouettes. Active influences are also mixed throughout, as seen through striped jerseys, throwback sportswear silhouettes and tracksuit-inspired cuts.
Shades of pink, purple and orange shape the color palette of the collection, which includes clothing, footwear and accessories, while Dua Lipa herself appears in the campaign with a new pink hairstyle to match the color of the collection.
Front and center in the collection, Dua Lipa's signature – a butterfly – is inspired by vintage rave flyers and represents transition and new beginnings, a theme that became central to the singer's life as she went through her own creative transformation.
Dua Lipa's butterfly design is featured alongside PUMA branding throughout much of the collection.
“The butterfly represents transition, transformation and new beginnings. "I felt that in the beginning, when I started working on the first collection, the butterfly already had a lot of meaning for me," said Dua Lipa.
“Now, moving into the second collection, that importance has only solidified and become even more important in my life. I feel like everything has progressed and transpired that way," he explained.
Flutur's second collection includes over 30 items, with highlights including the T7 inflatable bodysuit and the one-of-a-kind CELL Dome King trainer, created exclusively by Dua Lipa. The collection is also available in a variety of inclusive sizes.
The bright jumpsuits were designed around Dua Lipa's vision for a nostalgic, rave-ready jumpsuit that's comfortable and easy to wear. The collection's full range of footwear includes models such as the CELL Dome King and three variations of the Mayze, including the Mayze, Mayze Boot and Mayze Metallic.
Dua Lipa worked closely on the collection with long-time PUMA collaborator, designer and songwriter Billy Walsh.
Photographed by Jordan Hemingway and choreographed by John Byrne, the collection's campaign features the dance crew from Dua Lipa's 'Future Nostalgia' tour, Samantha Grover, Didde-Mie From, Jason Nguyen, Zaccary Mile , Fatou Bah, Robyn Laud, Sharon Mangoendinomo, Demi Mensah, Kane Horn, Lamaar Manning and Shawarah Battles.
