An anonymous source told Us Weekly that the 26-year-old singer and the 22-year-old model are on a "break" after more than two years of relationship. The source noted that the couple "does not go out anymore".

"Dua and Anwar are currently taking a break from their relationship and spending time apart. "They are trying to clear things up right now," another source confirmed to People.

Rumors that Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid were in a relationship erupted in June 2019, a few weeks after the singer's separation from her ex-partner, Isaac Carew. Lipa attended Hadid's birthday party, where they were seen "hugging".

The couple made their first public appearance at the 2019 American Music Awards.

Last year, Dua Lipa celebrated the first anniversary of her relationship with Anwar Hadid by posting a series of photos of them on Instagram with the adorable caption: "Nothing sweeter than 365 days with you".

Earlier this month, "The Sun" reported that the famous couple parted ways, however the rumors were not confirmed. The article said that Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid tried to "save" their relationship and eventually chose to follow separate paths, as their relationship remained "on the rocks".

The newspaper reported that the couple had not appeared together for almost six weeks, as Dua Lipa was in London and Los Angeles to record new music and Anwar Hadid was in New York.
