The famous rapper offered a new update on the release of his new album "Certified Lover Boy" during an interview on the sidelines of the rap battle N.O.M.E. XI of the Ultimate Rap League.

When asked about the release date of "Certified Lover Boy", Drake laughed and said he did not know exactly when his new album would be unveiled, how he confirmed that this is expected to happen before the end of the summer.

"Certified Lover Boy," Drake's sixth full-length album, was originally scheduled for release in January, but the rapper announced that month that the arrival of his new album was postponed.

"I plan to release my album this month, but between surgery and recovery, my energy has been devoted to my recovery," wrote Drake, who underwent knee surgery last year.

"I am blessed to be back on my feet and I feel great and I am focused on the album, but 'CLB' will not be released in January," he said.

In early March, Drake wanted to alleviate the audience's anxiety about "Certified Lover Boy" and released the EP "Scary Hours 2", which consisted of only three songs and featured Lil Baby and Rick Ross.
