Chris Martin wants to be a Broadway star.

 
The 45-year-old Coldplay singer has revealed in the recent past that his band will stop releasing records in 2025 and he has in mind the next step of his career.

Chris Martin dreams of starring in a theatrical version of the Disney movie "Mary Poppins".

"I have this distant dream of playing Mary Poppins on Broadway or something, but that is a long way off," he revealed.

The Coldplay frontman has previously made brief appearances in "Modern Family" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm," but admits he's not a very good actor at the moment, so he needs some acting lessons.

"Modern Family" was my daughter's favorite series at the time and we bonded with it. "And 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' is 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' so how could you ever say no to that?"

"I'm not an actor clearly and I'm good for one or two appearances here and there," he added.

Another thing Chris Martin is not good at is cooking.

In December, he admitted that he was "not a good cook", arguing that the last time he tried to cook something, he had to call the Fire Department.

"I'm not a good cook. "I have cooked twice in the last ten years and both times the Fire Department came and I would like to address a greeting to the North London Fire Department who saved me twice", he said characteristically.

"The second time they came and said, 'Are you cooking again?'" He joked.

Chris Martin said he lived on "spaghetti and toast", and described how the accident in his kitchen caused it: "I said I was going to cook dinner, but then I lost my temper and went to work on a song and then I forgot it until… anyway ".
