Cardi B's new single "Up" conquers the top of the American Billboard Hot 100 for the first time.
The song's performance on digital platforms skyrocketed after the rapper's highly explosive appearance on stage at the recent Grammy Awards 2021.
According to MRC Data, "Up" recorded an impressive increase of 96% in terms of sales, having recorded 18,000 downloads in the last week.
"Up" is Cardi B 's fifth song to dominate No. 1 of the Billboard Hot 100, with the rapper expanding her personal record for the female rapper with the most firsts in this chart.

The 28-year-old rapper celebrated the debut of "Up", which was released by Atlantic Records / Warner Music in early February, posting an enthusiastic and emotional message on social media.
"I want God to come and see me in my dreams when I sleep tonight so I can kiss his feet and tell him how much I love him. It's amazing. I have no words. "I basically have a lot of words, but I can't write them all," he said.
Despite the criticism it may receive at times, it is obvious that Cardi B has a dedicated audience that appreciates its music to the point where every release inevitably seems to be destined for the top of the charts.
