BTS's "BTS Radio: Past & Present" radio show on Apple Music 1 ended this week following the release of the band's anniversary album "Proof" on Friday, June 10th.

 
In the limited three-episode show, which began in May, members of the Grammy Award-winning band spoke to listeners about their path to success and shared stories about their songs that helped them evolve.

In the last episode, BTS showed the audience how far they have come and what they can do.

"We wanted to use this radio show to celebrate the nine years of BTS with you and our ARMY around the world. Each episode is dedicated to you. "We wanted to share BTS songs that help tell our story," RM explained.

"Personally, this song is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of BTS," Jungkook told Idol.

"It's a very fun song that lifts you up and gets a lot of love. "I also remember that we did an amazing show at an awards ceremony, so I have a lot of memories," he continued.

Jin added: "I chose this song because I know we really have fun when we perform it live. And I think the fact that we really enjoy the shows ourselves shows that we have matured as a band. "

"The same goes for me," said V. "When we dance to this song, I feel like we really show that we are idols."

 
V also spoke about "Dynamite": "I chose this song because it was our first No. 1 hit on the Billboard and it's just a great song. "I really liked the shooting of the music video for this song," he commented.

"I chose it because it's such a great song and it really got a lot of love from the listeners," Jimin said.

Jungkook recalled: "This song is special to me because I remember it was released after the COVID outbreak and things were frozen for that time. So I felt that this song was a gift for me and an opportunity to start all over again. "

J-Hope believes that "ON" shows "very well what kind of band we want to become, even further down our path, and what this path looks like to us." "When I listen to this song I want to grow as a person and have new dreams," he added.

Jin chose to talk about "Blood, Sweat & Tears" because "I remember exactly how difficult it was for us to prepare this song"

"We really rehearsed hard and gave it our all, we literally gave our blood, sweat and tears to this song. "And there is a saying (that says) that blood and sweat are what make you grow up, so this song has that meaning to me," he explained.

"We really have so many memories and experiences all these years, moments of struggle, moments of fun," said J-Hope, who chose "Outro: Wings."

"But when I listen to this song, it just makes me forget everything and makes me feel happy. "I hope our fans listen to this song with us and experience this new feeling," he continued.

Suga referred to the feeling of nostalgia caused by "I NEED U" and "Fire".

"I chose these songs because when I listen to them, they turn me straight to that moment. Like when a certain smell takes you back to a certain place or time. I think it was also the time when BTS was just starting to become more popular. It seems that many people believe that "Fire" was our first song. "That's why I chose these two," he said.

Jimin also starred in the new BTS single "Yet To Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)".

"I feel like we did a great job getting to where we are now and I think our new song is a party and not a dot in our career. "I want his message to our fans to be that we will return with a more mature version of ourselves," he said.
