Police called Britney Spears' home and determined the singer was out of danger.
Britney Spears' fans have reportedly called the police to check on her after she deleted her Instagram account yet again.
Officers from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office were called to the 41-year-old singer's home in Thousand Oaks, California on Wednesday (local time) after she deleted her account on the Instagram platform for the seventh time in less than a year.
According to TMZ, officers determined there was "no reason to believe she was in danger," but it's unclear if they spoke to the singer.
Britney Spears deleted her account days after she claimed she had changed her name to 'River Red', and has claimed she even 'accidentally' deleted her profile on the platform.
The singer has frequently deactivated her Instagram account in recent months, including in June 2022, a week after her wedding to Sam Asghari, and in March last year, but has since returned to the app.
Britney Spears had already caused concern among her fans with a rambling post in which she said she had 'changed' her name, while also addressing the 'manic episode' she reportedly suffered at a Los Angeles restaurant while out with her husband Sam Asghari.
"Making the news that I'm drunk and then exploiting my past is a clever way to make me look like a forgiven woman that we can look at and say, 'Awwww!'" she wrote, among other things.
“I see all this (…) I changed my name to River Red!!! However, the fire is where it lights up, to look at and jump right in without any fear!!!!'' he added.
On January 13, Britney Spears reportedly suffered a "manic episode" while at Joey's restaurant in Woodland Hills, California, with her husband storming out of the venue.
TMZ reported that the singer, according to witnesses, was acting "frantic" in the restaurant and talking nonsense. The rest of the restaurant's customers were taking videos and photos of Britney Spears with their mobile phones, which reportedly caused her intense discomfort.
Sam Asghari took to Instagram a day after the incident to post the message: "Don't believe everything you read on the internet, people."
