Billie Eilish was afraid that Daniel Craig would not like his song "No Time To Die"

Billie Eilish was worried that her song for the movie "No Time To Die" would not be good enough for Daniel Craig.

The award-winning singer stated that she felt the pressure for this "incredibly important" song for the actor and "she did not feel worthy" to write it.

The song of the same title "No Time To Die" has already won many awards and is nominated for the award for Best Original Song at the upcoming 2022 Oscars.

Speaking on Deadline's "Crew Call" podcast with her brother and Finneas co-star, Billie Eilish revealed that Daniel Craig had the final say on the song's inclusion in the film.

"Daniel was going to be the one to give his approval and it's really a big deal for him, it's been the last 17 years or so and that means a lot to him," she said. Time To Die "was the last film in which Daniel Craig plays the legendary agent James Bond.

"It was his last film, it's something that has monopolized his life for as long as he did and it was incredibly important. Of course, this movie would be the most important because it is the last. "The song had to be good," he continued.

"But then he got involved in the film and when we met Daniel Craig he was just the most charming, kind, amazing person and he was so flattering and that meant so much to me," he said.

Commenting on the fact that they were asked to write the song for the new James Bond film, Billie Eilish commented: "We did not feel we were the ideal people to do this."

"We said, 'No, someone else has to do this.' "We eagerly wanted to do it, but we certainly did not feel worthy at all," he added.

Billie Eilish and Finneas noted that after a slow start they got into rhythm and the song "was written on its own for us".

"When we started writing it, it was very difficult to get into the process, because we had a lot of things we wanted to achieve with the creation of this song," the pop star explained.

"Once we started and got these few melodies that would make this song what it is, then it became very easy to create it. "It really came to us as soon as we took the first step, the song was written on its own for us", he described.

"I hate the word easy, because it was not easy, but it just flowed naturally," he said.

The two brothers admitted that it was "difficult" to keep the end of the movie "No Time To Die" a secret for almost two years, as they watched a special screening of the project in 2019.

"People kept asking me, almost constantly, and I said, 'I can't tell you,'" said Billie Eilish.
