Billie Eilish officially releases her cover of Drake's 'Hotline Bling'

The cover was originally included on a 2018 Record Store Day release.

Billie Eilish has finally released her beloved cover of Drake's 'Hotline Bling' to streaming services.

However, while Billie Eilish's original cover clocks in at over two minutes, this version, simply titled 'hotline (edit)', lasts exactly one minute.

The new version includes only the second half of Billie Eilish's original performance, which was produced by her brother and longtime collaborator, Finneas.

Billie Eilish's cover of Drake's 2015 hit was first released as the B-Side to her single 'Party Favor' on a 7-inch vinyl for Record Store Day 2018.

Billie Eilish recorded a completely new version of "Hotline Bling", where she slowed down the tempo and added ukulele and synthesizer, completely changing the style of the song.

Her fans remember hearing the cover live as far back as 2017, when Billie Eilish used to sing part of 'Hotline Bling' to transition into 'Party Favor'.

In June 2018, she uploaded her cover to her Soundcloud page, but it was not available for streaming on popular platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music.

Billie Eilish's cover of "Hotline Bling" has been a big hit on TikTok lately with a clip of the song's instrumental bridge.

The one-minute version, 'hotline (edit)', includes the particular segment that has gone viral on TikTok and the chorus that follows.

In April, Billie Eilish was featured on Labrinth's new song 'Never Felt So Alone'.

An earlier version of the song premiered last year on the HBO series "Euphoria," in which Labrinth handles the score and lyrics.

Last month, Billie Eilish also made a surprise appearance at Labrinth's Coachella set to sing 'Never Felt So Alone' live for the first time, returning the favor from December, when Labrinth appeared at a concert by the singer at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
